The CTDC PAC
Formed to activate volunteers and raise funds for our endorsed candidates for the positions of Clinton Township Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and Trustee. We welcome your support, whether as a volunteer or a contributor to local Democratic campaigns.

The CTDC PAC is planning for a large fundraiser in 2025 to replenish our coffers after the 2024 elections. If you would like to help plan the event or get active with the PAC, contact us via email, text or phone.
What Is PAC
Political Action Committee (PAC) — A popular term for a political committee organized for the purpose of raising and spending money to elect and defeat candidates. Most PACs represent business, labor or ideological interests. PACs have been around since 1944, when the Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) formed the first one to raise money for the re-election of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
How Do PAC's Work?
Fundraising:
The PAC solicits contributions from its members and potentially other sources, such as individuals, businesses, or other PACs. These contributions can be monetary or in-kind donations, such as services or materials.
Allocation of Funds:
Once the PAC receives contributions, its leadership, often a board or committee, decides how to allocate these funds. This decision-making process may involve assessing the priorities of the local political club, identifying candidates or initiatives that align with those priorities, and determining the amount of financial support to provide to each.
Supporting Candidates or Causes:
The PAC distributes funds to support the chosen candidates or causes. This support may include direct contributions to political campaigns, funding for advertisements or promotional materials, or assistance with grassroots organizing efforts.
